5 Summer Cocktails To Try At Home

Summer is finally here! This year our plans might seem different with everything that’s been going on. However, there are always fun ideas you can do at home and with your closest friends.
On today’s post, we’ll share fun and easy cocktails you can try, using fresh ingredients as well as your favorite type of alcohol. Sounds amazing right?
Let’s start!
Watermelon Margaritas
  • Cubed Watermelon
  • Lemon Juice
  • Tequila
  • Coarse salt
In a cocktail glass, rub lemon on the rim and dip it in coarse salt. Then add tequila, lime juice, the cubed watermelon and ice (you can blend everything on a blender too to make it frozen) on a cocktail shaker and then pour it into the cocktail glass.
 Paloma Cocktail
  • 1 Orange
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Grapefruit
  • Squirt
  • Tequila
For this cocktail, we recommend serving it on “cantaritos” (these jars are made from clay and help keeping the drink cold). Cut all the fruit in slices, then add them to the jars. Then mix the desired amount of squirt or grapefruit juice and tequila. If you like spicy drinks, you can add chamoy (the mexican candy) on the rim of the cantarito.
 Summer Sangria
  • Cherry brandy
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • 1 cup of blackberries
  • Wine
  • Club soda
Cut all the fruits in small portions and add them on big jar. Then pour the bottle of wine, club soda and the cherry brandy and mix everything together. Add ice and refrigerate for 1 or 2 hours for an even tastier flavor.
Raspberry Mojitos
  • Raspberries
  • Mint leaves
  • Lime juice
  • White rum
  • Raspberry rum
  • Club soda
Serve the raspberries, mint leaves and lime juice on a glass. After that, add 1 ounce of rum and 1 ounce of raspberry rum, club soda and ice. If you are the kind of person that likes sweet drinks, add a bit of your favorite syrup.
Strawberry Lemonade
  • Strawberries
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • White rum
  • Syrup or sugar
Cut the strawberries in small cubes, or you can muddle the strawberries in a pitcher. Then add the lemon juice, your favorite syrup or sugar, ice and white rum. It’s refreshing, delicious and you can make a version for the kids too.
