It’s been 24 days of 2020 and the world is still crazy! Fires, earthquakes, accidents and war threats. Newspapers and social media are always talking about what happened in a certain country, about what some politicians said about another one or how mother nature is manifesting herself and since we’re always connected, it’s impossible to not see all this information on a daily basis.
When we consume and get a lot of this information, we tend to feel anxious and worried about our lives and our own safety. We start to become paranoid to every small action that happens in our environment and our stress levels increase.
In order to stay positive and having a positive perspective about life, we’ll share with you 3 tips that instantly will make you feel good.
In the same way, you consume news, memes and lifestyle websites, we encourage you to follow on social media accounts that inspire you and have content that makes you smile or laugh. If you like to have fun, follow memes like 9gag, if you like quotes, you can follow @thegoodmanproject, if you like empowering content follow @girlboss or @fiercebymitu. Share it with your friends too, so you can brighten up their day too.
You don’t have to have a big project that donates millions of dollars in order to give back, you can do it by helping someone that is near you and with what you have. Ask your old neighbors if they are okay if they need help with groceries if they need help with their house. Offer your friend, who is a single mother, to take care of her baby while she takes some time off for herself or you can be a volunteer on a shelter. Small actions have a big impact on other people’s lives and it makes you feel like the world is a positive place.
Exercise and eat well
This might sound odd in the context, however, having a daily workout routine and balanced nutrition will help you with negative and pessimistic thoughts. If you don’t believe us, we’ll quote the amazing Elle Woods with her famous quote “Exercise gives you endorphins; endorphins make you happy, happy people just don't shoot their husbands!”
See! Working out is effective!
